WelcomeOur mission is to encourage the personal participation, commitment and involvement of every gospel believer in world evangelism through fasting and prayer for missions and missionaries in all nations.
|Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into HIS harvest” (Matthew 9:37, 38).
As the world population grows every day, the harvest is more plentiful now than ever before! We have been called by Jesus Christ to pray for the increase of laborers to work in this worldwide harvest.
|Every individual can pray for the will of God to be done in all the earth, as it is in heaven. Our desire is to see heaven populated. “After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindred, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands!” (Revelation 7:9).||PTF is mobilizing a network of intercessors, who will fast and pray for world evangelization. You are invited to join us in “praying for the nations!”|
|Prayer journeys are an integral part of the ministry of the PTF. By invitation of AGWM missionaries, the Prayer Task Force will recruit teams to travel to worldwide venues where special prayer services will be held.||We assist pastors, churches and individuals to become a powerful Prayer Task Force Network that will impact the world with the gospel. We are a part of Assemblies of God World Missions under the direction of the Missions Awareness Team and AGWM U.S. Relations.
Welcome to this opportunity for a productive and fruitful ministry of world evangelization.

GODLY LEADERSHIP IN GOVERNMENT
On September 28, 2011 in my morning devotions I read Proverbs 28. Let me share verse two of that Chapter by using four different translations: "For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged" (Proverbs 28:2 King James Version). "When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when a ruler is a man of discernment, understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue" (Amplified Version). "When a nation sins, it will have one ruler after another, But a nation will be strong and…Read more...
God’s Redemptive Action
I've been thinking this morning about GOD'S Redemptive Action Concerning Everyone (GRACE). The Greek word is “charis,” and is defined as good will, loving-kindness, and favor of the merciful kindness by which GOD, exerting HIS HOLY SPIRIT upon souls to turn them to JESUS CHRIST. Then the grace of GOD disciples those who believe, by keeping them, strengthening and increasing them in Christian faith, in knowledge, in affection (agape love), and in obedience to exercise Christ-like virtues. The first time “grace” is mentioned in Scripture is in reference to Noah. “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the…Read more...
For the past year I have been involved as director of the Prayer Task Force for the Assemblies of God World Missions. Our mission is to encourage the personal participation, commitment and involvement of every gospel believer in world evangelism through fasting and prayer for missions and missionaries in all nations. On April 8, 2010, Nelma and I met with World Missions leadership in Springfield, Missouri and were asked to take this important assignment. It is the most overwhelming task that I have ever undertaken. There are three reasons why this work is so important: First, the HEAVENLY…Read more...
Doing Fifty Five On Twenty Two
I can’t tell you how many times I have traveled Highway 22 between Paris and Fort Smith, Arkansas. I was a second grader in Mrs. Burkhead’s class when our family moved from Paris to Fort Smith for Daddy to find work. That was the first time in my memory that I remember making that trip. We moved back to Paris for a brief two years when our family managed the Dairy Queen. I started to drive and received my driver’s license and one of the favorite places to drive was on 22 toward Charleston. I really can’t tell you…Read more...
